  2. When we see the end of a saint,we can determine how he led his life in this world. It was really a blessed experience to attend the home going services of Pr: George Thomas. When ever we came to the Georgia Full Gospel Assembly,he was at the entrance with a beautiful smile.Even though he is not there any more,he is enjoying the presence of God for ever and ever.May God comfort Ammamma, Aby,Ciby and family and all other church members.

  3. We were shocked to hear about the sudden departure of Pastor George Thomas. He was a good friend of my father Late Pastor John Daniel. They were friends during the time my dad was the pastor in Poona, India (1972-1975). My dad talked very highly about Pastor George Thomas, he told me that Late Pastor Thomas is a very humble man, who served God faithfully. They had a good relationship.

Since we just went through the loss of our dad we really understand how hard it is to accept when our dear one leaves us without any notice. May God strengthen Pastor Thomas family and church.

  4. We knew him from Doha Church Of God and he was truly a man of God. When he came to my house two weeks before he went to India, he looked at the pictures and had memmories of Doha Church of God.

Feb 16th - It was a great home going serive for a great man of God can recive. Only could Listen to the younger son with tears in my eyes.

“For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever”.

Thank God for the blessed hope we have in Christ. Though we miss him for a while, we are going to see him again on the beautiful shore when the Lord returns. “For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.” 1Thessalonians 4:16 – 17.

  6. Rev. George Thomas was a man of sincerity and integrity. He was a model father and a loving husband. His sister Susy & Babu are members of QCOG, NY. I cannot forget a trip from Atlanta to New York about a year back, when Rev. George Thomas drove the van all the way from Atlanta to his sister’s home at New Jersey, with us, all night. On behalf of our family, church & the Kerala Pentecostal Writer’s Forum, New York, I express my condolences. May God comfort the grieving families.

  7. The Malayalee Pentecostal Community has lost a genuine servant of God and a sincere leader. Rev. George Thomas was a simple, sincere and a humble servant of God with a heart for serving and a zeal for the work of the Lord Almighty, which thoroughly impressed me. I do believe the 27th Pentecostal Conference is not going to be the same without him. Everyone who has come in contact with him will miss him very dearly.

On behalf of myself, my family, and the church I pastor, North Dallas Church of God, I would like to express our deepest sympathy to Mrs. George Thomas, their two sons and family, and the Georgia Full Gospel Church where he was the Senior Pastor.

May the Peace of God which passes all understanding console and comfort all the grieving families, church families, and the Malayalee Pentecostal community as a whole.

The Bible says: “Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.” (Psalms 116:15). God has received one of His precious servants into His very presence.

  9. Pastor George Thomas was well known to me when he was serving the Lord in Doha. Being a place with limited freedom for worship I remember the trials he had to undergo at that time. As he continued to serve the Lord faithfully in the U S, we were proud of him. However, the Master has plucked off the ‘Rose’ from the garden, to be with Him.

  17. Dear Ammama, Aby and Ciby:

While I was in India in January, I could talk to Pastor George Thomas couple of times. The last call I did was to visit him as he was going through the therapy. When I shared my desire to visit from Palakkad, the reply was “I am not sick for visitation and it is a long way” Our church are truly wounded because we lost a good Pastor, leader and a loved one. Ammama, Aby and Ciby, always be encouraged. Georgia Full Gospel Assembly is very close to us and we love you and pray for you.

I was so saddened to hear about the passing away of Pastor George Thomas. We lost another Malayalee Pentecostal leader in our community. I met Pastor Thomas during my ministry in NY as he was ministering at Zion Pentecostal Assembly, Connecticut during the same time. I had many personal contacts with this great man of God. 55. As echoed by those words before me, the departure of Pastor George Thomas is saddening. However, as we read in Philippians, what greater encouragement can there be than to be united with Christ. Pastor and family have been very close to our family (Pastor Y. Zachariah & family and Pastor Johnson Zachariah & family).

To pastor ammamma, Aby & family, Ciby & family: Psalms 119:76 “May Your unfailing love be my comfort, according to Your promise to Your servant.”

On behalf of 13th NACOG & New Garland Church of God, we pray that the incomparable riches of His grace, expressed in His kindness to us in Jesus Christ be with all of you.

We have not simply lost a servant of God, rather we know a servant who has been promoted by his Master.

  57. You never know what each day holds until you experience it. This incident reminds me of the way my appachen - Rev. Mathai P. Mathai - was promoted to glory. Only God knows our time on this earth He puts us on.

Pastor and his family have been very close family friends for a very long time. His enthusiasm, passion, and diligence with how he fulfilled the call of God on his life serves as an example for the generation of ministers and laity that follow. We are indebted to men of God like Pastor George Thomas who kept the faith, stood on the principles found in the Word of God, and transferred the knowledge of God to his family, church, and community.

On behalf of my family and the Pentecostal Youth Fellowship of America (PYFA), I’d like to express our very heartfelt condolences and assure the family, church, and PCNAK team that the prayers of the churches here in the NY metro area are with them in this time of sadness and shock. Remember that God is in control through the good times and the bad times. We don’t have to worry and don’t be afraid. Joy comes in the morning and troubles do not last always.

The day of the Lord is coming where we must be prepared to be taken up. The question to this generation is: WILL WE BE PREPARED AND WORTHY to be called up and have the delight of worshipping God with servants of God like Pastor George Thomas and appachen?

May God’s never-ending peace rest upon you!

  59. Dear family of Pastor George Thomas Family, Atlanta Full Gospel Church & PCNAK team.

This morning when I saw my e-mail I was shocked and I tried to reason with this news which was really saddening and shocking. I remember my communication with him few days before he was to leave for India related to upcoming conference and other ministry matters, and we were to be in communication after he retuns from India, and never felt that was the last time I could speak with him.

I join with all fellow brothers and body of Christ in prayers for his family, church and the host of friends he has left behind that the ‘peace that surpaseth all understanding may reign in the heart of all his loved ones, as they loss a beloved wonderful person - a great servant, a loving wonderful husband, a father and a good friend. “…blessed are the dead who die in the Lord”

  73. It was with great shock of disbelief that I was awaken to the call at 620am of our dear Rev. George Thomas passing away. I could not believe what I had just heard, immediately I called Aby and Ciby, I could not utter a single word to them, other than “I am on my way..”

Throughout the longs hours of that day, many difficult questions arose, many instances of weakness surrounded me, but the love of our Father and the communion of His Holy Spirit which passeth all understanding began to comfort each of us. Just a few moments ago, I shared with a dear aunty of how Rev. George Thomas would tell me, “Tomy, there will be times I counsel you, and guide you, and may even scold you, but it is because I love you, I look at you the same way I look at Aby and Ciby.” It is indeed a deep wound which will take much needed strength to heal for us all.

We are reminded in times like these of the poem Footprints, in which we begin to ask “Lord, when I look back, I only see one set of footprints, I don’t understand why you would leave me when I needed you most” That is when our inner eyes are opened to the reply of our Lord, “My son, my daughter, I love you and would never leave you, during your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you”

On behalf of Georgia Youth Fellowship and the youth of PCNAK I extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Rev. George Thomas. Our prayers, support, and love reach out to you. We feel the pain you are going through and even though the words of man can only comfort you temporarily, the Love of our Father will strengthen you day by day.

  89. Dear Family of Pastor George Thomas:

We deeply mourn and greatly rejoice at the home call of our Beloved Pastor and Friend Pastor George Thomas.

We grieve because we have lost one of the Great Soldiers of the Cross - the position and ministry cannot be replaced. The family has lost a wonderful husband and a loving father. The church has lost a Shepherd who cares. The PCNAK has lost a staunch supporter of unity of purpose and Vision. A man of descipline, integrity and committment to the cause.

We greatly rejoice because he has fought a good fight, finished the course with distinction, and kept the faith faith till the end. He has already been received into the joy of His Master. There is no greater joy than to know that Pastor Goerge Thomas is at the destination he greatly desired. His works are the testimony of his life and ministry.

We at the Trinity Full Gospel Churches in India assure of our prayers and good wishes to the family, the church and the Organisation at large.

  100. I have met this man of God just once. I was visiting a prayer meeting with my Uncle Tony & Family, who is a member of his church in Atlanta. With the brief interaction that I had with him, I have found out that this man is a true follower of our Lord with a passion for souls.
Great will be the loss to the Pentecostal community of North America. But the consolation is ,Pastor George Thomas has gone to a better place.

  105. Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ
Rev. George Thomas was an outstanding man that did everything in his power for the ministries of God, even though he had a short life it was all for God’s glory. He was a good pastor in various churches in the Middle East and United Sates and a personal friend. As it says in, Rev. 14:13 ‘Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on. Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.”’ Even though he has passed we should all take this time in prayer for his family and for their great loss and remember a man of God and his life as an example to future generations.
    May God Bless,

  115. The family of Rev. George Thomas, PCNAK and the Members of Georgia Full Gospel Assembly

With much sadness, we received the news of our beloved brother, Rev. George Thomas, of Atlanta. Death in human experience has never been easy, whether it comes in youth or in old age, whether it comes suddenly or after a long illness, it always leaves in its wake sorrow, tears, loneliness and longing. But our Lord, who has conquered death by his own death, proved to us that beyond Calvary, as proof there is the empty tomb! If we live the way Our Master lived, will be with Him in His heavenly kingdom. During the past Decades, he proved himself to be the “good shepherd.” He always stood for the gospel, despite going through tough times. His quiet demeanor and warm personality are models for everyone to follow. He suffered imprisonment and shame for his Master. Overall he had a good testimony.

On behalf of the Infusion Campus Ministries, WOW (Warriors of Worship) and Youth of Dallas; I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the family, church and the PCNAK officials. I pray that our Heavenly Master will comfort and strengthen you all at this most difficult time.

  117. To
The family of Rev. Geroge Thomas, PCNAK Family and the Members of Georgia Full Gospel Assembly

It was with great sadness and shock, I received the news of the sudden departure of Rev. George Thoms. We lost a true spiritual leader for the malayalee pentecostal community. When I met him at Ranny, Kariamplave WME Annual Convention, we had a few minutes together and as we depart, we promised to see each other in US when he return. But God’s plan was to meet on the other shore in His time.

Though we could not fully understand God’s plan, in His time He decided to call Pastor Goerge Thomas to Glory. Pastor Thomas completed his mission and fullfilled his duty. It is God’s masterplan.

We will truly miss Pastor George Thomas. I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the family, church and the PCNAK officials. I pray that Heaven comfort and stregnthen you all at this most difficult time.

On behalf of my family, and the IPC Eastern Region, once again I extend our sincere condolences and offer our prayer at this time of sorrow.

  119. Dear Thomas Family and the PCNAK family,

It was a rude shock to hear about Pr. Thomas’ sudden demise. He has been a real good friend of mine and his children are my close friends. Few weeks ago, he visited our Church and I was able to spend some time with him and he promised to come back to our city for a promotional meeting on 1st of March. Unfortunately, that wasn’t meant to be.

Pr. Thomas has been a genuine person and he distinguished himself as a wonderful Pastor and a leader. He always stood for the gospel, despite going through tough times. His quiet demeanor and warm personality are models for everyone to follow. I know that he was looking forward to a great Conference in July and was diligently and tirelessly working for that.

We are going to truly miss him. I wish and pray that the Almighty strengthen ammamma, Aby, Ciby, his siblings and their families and fill their hearts with the heavenly peace that surpasseth all understanding.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaving family.
